With the collegiate season right around the corner, I’m going to try to keep rolling out schedules from conferences playing in the spring. This time around, we have the Southeastern Collegiate Rugby Conference. After a strong maiden voyage in 2012, the SCRC is back and ready for a spring full of hard hitting rugby action.
The conference, which includes representatives from schools that make up the Southeastern Conference, is split into two divisions and currently totals eleven teams in competition with three additional associate conference members.
Division Alignments
East Division: Tennessee, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, Vanderbilt, and Kentucky
West Division: Louisiana State, Alabama, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, and Auburn
This season, the SCRC teams will play a six-game regular season schedule. The top two teams from each division will move onto the Conference Semifinals with the winners playing for the 2013 SCRC Championship. The University of Florida come into the season as the reigning SCRC champs.
